Happy Friday! {exciting news!}

This week, one of my clients had a doctors appointment… and as she walked into the clinic — she noticed new artwork on the walls… maternity portraits… children… families…newborns… then as she looked closer to the watermark… realized it said — Jamilah’s Creative Touch! All of the pictures were by Jamilah’s Creative Touch! She said, hey — that’s my photographer! Does she come to this clinic or something?! Of course, nobody in the clinic knew who I was… they just knew they got some new pictures!

This has been one of my (many) business projects this week… thanks to somebody who referred my work to the office manager of this woman’s clinic, my photography is now gracing the walls of this newly renovated clinic… from 8x10s to 30x40s… artwork of families, women, newborns, and children are displayed  in the hallways… the waiting area… and soon in all the exam rooms… I’m currently designing my brochures and new business cards which will also be available in the waiting areas… EXCITING!!!! Isn’t it??

I just have this overwhelming sense of pride… you know, like being a kindergartner and seeing your colorful drawing  displayed on the refrigerator… it’s exactly like that… I’m just so proud of how far I’ve come… how far we’ve come… and I wouldn’t be where I am today if it weren’t for my awesome clients who had faith in me, who trusted my eye, and who allowed me to document such precious moments of their lives… and for that, I thank YOU! It’s been such blessing to have worked with so many wonderful people… I just can’t get over it… and with that — I’ll end by wishing you a happy Friday and a fantastic weekend!
