Approaching Tamara & Karl’s engagement session — I was a bit nervous… excited, but nervous… because we live about 3 hours apart — prior to their engagement session, we’d only spoken over the phone and via Skype… so this would be our first time meeting face to face… but excitement took over as soon as they arrived… and there’s nothing like following around a beautiful couple to capture their love for each other at such an exciting moment in their lives…our backdrop for the first part of the shoot was the amazing Vizcaya Museum… then we grabbed some appetizers before doing a couple of night shots on Biscayne Bay… it was a long day for all of us — but definitely well worth it… see for yourselves… enjoy some of my favorites from Tamara & Karl’s engagement session… enjoy!

I was instantly smitten with Krista after our first conversation on the phone… she was really sweet and she’s from Michigan… you know, Midwesterners have to stick together Well, after meeting Chris & Krista at Panera one morning — I then was smitten with both of them… they are both down to earth people with a laid back attitude… so I was really excited when they officially booked me as their wedding photographer for their 2013 wedding… (yay!)

As Dave and I drove down to Boca Raton for Chris & Krista’s engagement session, I was chanting “Please don’t rain, please don’t rain, please don’t rain” in my head because it just finished storming over our house… well, it wasn’t raining when we arrived… but it started raining as soon as we began shooting… with no signs of letting up… so… we kept on shooting… rain and all! And it was one of the most fun engagement sessions I’ve done! Hope you enjoy part 1 of their engagement session… and happy Wednesday!

jamie & adam engagement session part 2

After a quick outfit change, we relocated Jamie & Adam’s engagement session to the beach and we had some beach fun. And if I didn’t mention it already in the first post, these two are so much fun and totally in love. I loved capturing them just laughing and playing with each other.
